Essentials of Accounting
Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge and understanding of financial and managerial accounting as well as the ability to make decisions based on accounting data. This course is intended for those who wish to study accounting for the first time and for business managers, not accounting specialists, who wish to use the knowledge and understanding of accounting for their business advantages. Students are expected to learn how management strategies and/or business characteristics can be reflected in accounting data.
In summary, the course is designed to focus on the followings:
