Biography:

Mr. Miyagawa is engaged in Organizational Development & Strategies issues for a wide variety of industries. His research topic is on the globalization of Japanese businesses and has turned his theme into several case studies. Prior to joining GLOBIS, he worked in the educational field in both Japan and the United States. He also has experience in cross-border management consulting projects as well as in sales & marketing roles at startup companies under angel financing.

Faculty Message:

"Grasping the essence of "strategy" or "marketing" is actually very elusive and an introductory class should not be confused as being too basic. I think it is possible to learn the true foundations of these important subjects and have fun doing so. You will be exposed to some practical tools, frameworks, and concepts that shed light on nagging problems that you may have encountered in your daily job. But let's not stop at the "how to" but also access the deeper meaning of the analysis. I hope there is a kernel of insight that you gain out of every session, and at the end, you will be inspired to continue the exploration further."
