Program
What is the Pre-MBA?
Pre-MBA offers students the chance to take MBA courses before officially enrolling in our 2-year program. You can see if the MBA program is a fit for you by trying as little as one course before you apply. When admitted to the MBA Program, students may transfer credits earned in the Pre-MBA to the MBA. Furthermore, the same amount of tuition you paid for any Pre-MBA courses will be subtracted from the tuition for the MBA.

How long can I be a Pre-MBA student?
The Pre-MBA period is limited to 1 year.
May I take several courses in the same term?
Yes. You can take as many courses as you wish in the same term. Each student tends to take 1-3 courses per term. Please confirm the course schedule before you decide.
How many months are required to complete one course?
Courses are basically three months long.
Can I extend my study period as a Pre-MBA student?
No. If wish to take courses as a Pre-MBA student, you need to reapply for the Pre-MBA.
Can I transfer my credits to and from other schools?
It is possible. Please consult the Admissions Office. If approved, you can transfer the credits from other schools.
Can you provide me with a transcript for Pre-MBA courses?
Yes. We will provide students with a transcript for each course when requested.
What courses are available for Pre-MBA students?
All the fundamental courses except for Leadership Development Workshop, “Business Presentation” and “Facilitation and Negotiation” are available. Please see the Courses open to Pre-MBA Students section in the Pre-MBA page.
Can I take Pre-MBA courses in Japanese as well?
It is possible. However, you need to apply for the Japanese Pre-MBA program.
Admission
What do I need to do to be admitted?
It is very simple. You only have to fill out your Pre-MBA application form. We will then notify you of the result in a few days.
When can I join the program?
You can join the Pre-MBA program in January, April, July and October.
I live abroad, will you provide me with a visa to take Pre-MBA courses?
Unfortunately, Student Visas are not offered for Pre-MBA Program.
I do not have enough work experience to take a course, what do I do?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to apply for the Pre-MBA unless you have more than three years of work experience at the time of entrance.
I do not possess a bachelor’s degree, can I still join?
It is possible. In this case, you need to prove that you have a rich work experience to contribute to our class in your Pre-MBA application form.
I have not taken any English Tests, or my score is under the screening standard. Am I still eligible?
We will ask you to have an English interview for those who have not taken any English Proficiency Tests, or whose score is under the standard for screening. If an applicant meets one of the following criteria, we will not ask for your English proficiency.
- A native English speaker
- Graduated from a university or graduate school in an English-speaking country
- Completed a degree program taught completely in English
I’m younger than 22, can I still take courses?
Applicants who are younger than 22 cannot apply for Pre-MBA Program.
Do you accept the GLOBIS points I received from the GLOBIS Management School?
No. You cannot use GLOBIS Points for Pre-MBA Program.
Fees & Financing
How much does a Pre-MBA course cost?
- Tuition: 122,000 JPY per course, incl. Tax.
- Enrollment fee: 22,000 JPY
Do you have scholarships for Pre-MBA students?
Scholarships are not offered to Pre-MBA Program.
Do you have loans for Pre-MBA students?
Yes. JACCS education loans are available for those who wish to make more than two payments.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. In this case, you utilize JACCS education loans.
I need to cancel my Pre-MBA course after the class started. How much is the cancellation fee?
If you cancel your course after 2 weeks prior to the time the first class starts, you have to pay the enrollment fee of 22,000 yen as well as the cancellation fee of 30,000 yen per course. If you cancel the course after the class starts, you have to pay 100% of the tuition.
