Course-related Networking Opportunities

Course ML
(Mailing List)

  • Every course has own mailing list, where faculty members and students can engage in discussions outside the classroom. This is a powerful tool for deepening your learning.

Study Sessions

  • Students often organize and prepare for classes using study rooms that GLOBIS provides. You will be surprised by how much more you can get out of class through the study sessions.

After-class Networking

  • Students often gather together after class to network, continue class discussions, and simply chat with classmates to get to know each other more.

Academic Events

Orientation

  • To welcome all students, GLOBIS holds a Program Orientation just before enrollment. Students will begin their GLOBIS journey through sharing their personal missions and beginning to build their network.

Orientation for Overseas Students

  • GLOBIS helps you to settle in Japan through an Orientation that includes the various required registration, setting up your daily life, Japanese traditions, and living in Tokyo.

Entrance Ceremony

  • This Ceremony will be the first opportunity to meet your classmates, senior students, alumni, faculty, staff and their family who may all become your new “family” in Japan.

President’s Session

  • Mr. Hori, the President and Founder of GLOBIS will share his experience at Harvard Business School and his goals for GLOBIS. Students will explore issues such as leadership and other topics.

Reflection Sessions

  • This session will be a unique opportunity to look back at what students have achieved so far, how they can still improve, and receive advice and support from classmates.

Graduation Ceremony

  • GLOBIS will celebrate students’ graduation and expect these visionary leaders to continue their journeys in innovation and creation of societies, reaping the fruit of their hard work.
