What is a Personal Mission
Full-time MBA program starts
They came from all over the world to be a part of GLOBIS history. Students from eleven different countries converged at GLOBIS’ Tokyo campus on Sunday for the entrance ceremony of the inaugural Full-time MBA Program.
Following two weeks of introductory “Module Zero” classes and one week of orientation – including rock-climbing and other team-building exercises – the 23 students are now ready to embark on a one-year journey to become “visionary leaders who create and innovate societies.”
The entrance ceremony itself was a melting pot of different cultures and professional backgrounds, with students from all areas of Asia, North America and Africa joining the ceremony, along with current part-time students and GLOBIS alumni.
GLOBIS President Yoshito Hori delivered an inspirational speech to open the ceremony, before two of the entering students addressed the audience to share their vision and goals.
Part-time students also chimed in with some entertaining speeches, sharing their advice about the GLOBIS MBA Program and offering support to their new peers.
Family members were also in attendance – including some flying in from overseas – to support the students as they began their journey.
