What is our Pre-MBA System?
- Pre-MBA offers students the chance to take MBA courses before officially enrolling in our 2-year program
- You can see if the MBA program is a fit for you by trying as little as one course before you apply
- When admitted to the MBA Program, students may transfer credits earned in the Pre-MBA to the MBA
- The same amount of tuition you paid for any Pre-MBA courses will be subtracted from the tuition for the MBA
- The Pre-MBA period is limited to 1 year
- Pre-MBA students may take up to 15 credits (10 courses)
- No degree or certificate is issued

Pre-MBA Application Guide

Students applying for the Pre-MBA System are required to meet all of the following criteria:

| Enrollment Duration: | 1 year *The Pre-MBA student status will be extended until entrance if a student applies and is admitted to the MBA Program. |
| Maximum credits: | 15 credits (approximately 10 courses) * Students who registered for Japanese MBA (tankasei) or open enrollment programs besides the Pre-MBA can take up to 15 credits in total. |
| Maximum credits transferable to the MBA: |
15 credits (approximately 10 courses), 5 years * Credits earned within 5 years from the date of admission can be transferred. * Students admitted to the Japanese MBA Program can transfer a maximum of 9 credits maximum from the Pre-MBA System. |
| Visa: | Student Visas are not offered for the Pre-MBA. |
Notes for applying for the Pre-MBA
- Pre-MBA students are required to undergo a different screening process when applying to the MBA Program.
- The number of seats available for Pre-MBA students may be limited, as MBA students have priority.
- Student ID or railcards, etc. will not be issued to non-degree students.
- Courses can not be paid for using GLOBIS points earned at the GLOBIS Management School.
Taking courses in other non-degree programs
- Pre-MBA students may take courses offered by the Japanese MBA Program (tankasei).
* To register for a course in Japanese, students need to provide additional specified documents.
* The maximum number of combined Pre-MBA and Japanese MBA System (tankasei) credits students may take is 15 credits (about 10 courses). If admitted to one of the MBA Programs, students are allowed to transfer a maximum of 9 credits.
