Beyond a Business School

GLOBIS is more than a Business School

GLOBIS supports the development of human, capital, and knowledge resources through its venture capital arm, and much more.

Venture Capital

Since the launch of its first fund in 1996, GLOBIS Capital Partners has grown to become one of Japan’s leading venture capital firms, investing in over 120 companies and overseeing dozens of IPOs. Many of GLOBIS’ faculty actively manage ventures and incorporate their front-line experiences into the curriculum. Being at the core of these start-ups gives GLOBIS unique know-how, which allows for a deeper MBA experience.

Corporate Training

GLOBIS Corporate Education delivers tailor-made programs to clients, with courses that closely relate to the clients’ interests and needs. These innovative training methods have helped attract a stream of users, allowing GLOBIS Corporate Education to spin off into a stand-alone business unit. As of 2016, GLOBIS has provided training programs to over 650 companies, with approximately 82,500 corporate managers and employees attending our sessions.
