GLOBIS University held its graduation ceremony for the 12th graduating class of the Part-time and Online English MBA Program on November 20, 2022. The ceremony was held both online and in-person at the Tokyo campus and celebrated 53 graduates from 18 countries: Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, The UK, The US, and Vietnam.

During the two-year MBA journey, students overcame numerous challenges during the global pandemic. With a sense of achievement and excitement for new challenges in a post-pandemic world, students marked the end of their journey on this day.

President and Founder of GLOBIS University, Yoshito Hori, encouraged students to keep pushing themselves and take on challenges; “Enjoy your adventures. We have been teaching you to take risks. If you do not take risks, you will not gain any return or add value to society. We want you to be adventurous and visionary. If you take risks, you will surely face adversity. Adversity is a great opportunity to improve yourself. If you are in your comfort zone, you are not learning or improving.”

Two graduates, Daniel Moraru, a graduate from Romania, and Myra Almilla, a graduate from the Philippines, delivered speeches on behalf of the cohort. They reflected on the last two years of their studies and expressed excitement for what the future holds.

We hope all the graduates continue making choices that follow their values. We look forward to hearing about everyone’s future success!

Further details of the graduation can be found on the official GLOBIS press release here.
