Tell us about your experience in GLOBIS' MBA program.

My GLOBIS MBA experience was quite unique. In a way, I became the first "full-time" student in the part-time MBA program as I came directly from overseas. It helped a lot that GLOBIS administration, faculty, and staff made my entry into the MBA program a very smooth process. This paved the way for more full-time students to experience the GLOBIS MBA Program.

At GLOBIS, I came to learn from faculty members who were actual business practitioners, and from students who were employed in diverse fields of industry. This made the interaction and sharing of ideas a most enriching experience. But what made the whole experience truly transformational was the development of our personal mission statements. This mission statement that I learned to develop at GLOBIS has continued to guide me in my life and career.

How has the GLOBIS MBA helped you in your life and career?

If I look back and "connect the dots," my GLOBIS MBA certainly has changed my life and career. After graduation, I went back to my former employer, which gave recognition to my degree. From then on, my career just took off as I got bigger responsibilities that came with a series of promotions. To cap it all off, my GLOBIS MBA led me back to Japan when I got designated Managing Director of Philippine National Bank Japan.

My career advancement has certainly made my life better. But more than this, my life has become more meaningful, anchored by my personal mission statement: to help fellow Filipinos improve their lives through financial literacy. My GLOBIS MBA has brought me to my current position, where I can fully live out my mission and live a fulfilled life.

What would you like to tell those who are considering studying at GLOBIS?

A GLOBIS education is a "disruptor." It will shake you out of your comfort zone and push you to explore the limits of what you can do. It will challenge you to contribute to society. If you allow it, it can change your life and that of the people around you. You will make life-long friends who will support you. If you are considering to study at GLOBIS, you have to be ready for all these. I speak from first-hand experience.
