G-CHALLENGE is a business plan contest aiming to create more entrepreneurs for tomorrow’s business world. The judges include venture capitalists, venture managers, and faculty members at GLOBIS. Winners receive a grand prize investment of up to 10 million yen (around 73 thousand USD) from a GLOBIS fund. In 2021, three teams were awarded this grand prize among 33 contenders.
G-STARTUP is an acceleration program for seed-stage companies. The program supports product and business development by selecting startups expected to grow into Japan's leading companies. The program provides lectures by successful entrepreneurs and venture specialists, as well as mentoring by active venture capitalists.
G-GROWTH is an investment program for startup companies founded by current students and graduates. The maximum investment is set at 100 million yen (around 730 thousand USD) per company. In recent years, an increasing number of students have launched startups that received G-GROWTH investments to accelerate their growth.
