Analytical skills are important in business in various jobs and functions within an organization. The objectives of this course are to understand the necessary principles and methods of basic quantitative analysis and gain the ability to use quantitative analysis to facilitate decision-making in practical business settings, such as in business planning or creating proposals. In this course students will:
- Learn about the significance of quantitative analysis and its processes
- Study various concepts and methods of analysis that will allow them to process and interpret data, predict the future and make decisions
- Look at real world business examples and use the techniques they have learned
This course is recommended for all students to acquire the basic analytical skills and be able to use quantitative analysis in practical business settings. It is recommended that students take this course as early as possible, so that they can apply what they learn to future courses.
