Leadership Development, Ethics and Values

Course Objectives

The objectives of this course are to identify attributes that students will require as leaders when creating and innovating societies, and to seek a methodology that develops these attributes effectively. Leadership cannot be developed overnight nor is there a magical potion to grant it. Rather, students should acquire the necessary skills through their own daily challenges and achievements. This course thus aims to help students define their own ideal image of a leader, understand their current situation, and create a guideline to developing the skills and mindset that they will require as a leader, by offering ideas on self-development methodologies that direct the students to that ideal image. *Completing 360 degree Performance Evaluation is required.

"Why do we live? This simple question is what I want you to think in my course. This world is full of possibilities, but the "time"(one of our most precious resource) is limited. Therefore, we have to choose in which aspect we would like to focus. Being able to answer the above question gives you a clear criteria on where to focus. Maybe no one can answer the question with 100% certainty, but it is important that we keep searching for the answer. I am looking forward to discuss with you in this never ending quest."
