He will walk through how he defines the competitors and benchmarks that matter, how he identifies gaps that can become strengths, and how he turns insights into a clear plan. Taka Suzuki is Vice President, Head of Asia, International Division at Purpose Brands, a US-based company and the world’s largest fitness franchisor by number of locations. Since joining in 2023, he has led the Asia region, which represents about 60% of the international network, primarily through Anytime Fitness.
Previously, he served as Co-Country Director and Marketing Director at Subway Japan, where he drove business transformation and marketing, including digital initiatives and new sales channels, delivering double-digit same-store sales growth and improved profitability. He also held senior leadership roles at Pizza Hut Japan (KFC Holdings Japan), including CMO and CDO, and was named Pizza Hut CMO of the Year in 2018. He holds an MBA from GLOBIS University and studied internationally at RMIT University. His expertise includes business transformation, digital marketing, and cross-cultural leadership.
Mr. Hirose Satoshi is the Dean of Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University. Before joining GLOBIS, Mr. Hirose turned around and launched a new business as SVP/Co-COO of BELLSYSTEM24, the largest CRM company in Japan, after it was acquired by Bain Capital. Mr. Hirose started his career as a derivatives trader and corporate risk manager. He then joined A.T. Kearney as a management consultant specializing in corporate strategy development/implementation, corporate transformation, merger and acquisition arrangements. Later, he took the role of corporate executive officer, VP in charge of operations and technology, chief of staffs, and project management officer at AIG/AIU.
