Akio Mori

Biography:

Akio Mori has extensive experience in the financial field, both in New York and Tokyo.

Starting his career as a commercial banker at Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ, he was responsible for small to mid-sized companies in the center of Tokyo. He then moved to the New York branch to engage in sales and analysis of syndicated loans (including leveraged buyout financing) for large US-based clients. He continued his finance career at GE capital during the turbulent period following the Lehman shock as a member of GE's leadership program for experienced professionals.

Akio has deepened his expertise while engaging in M&A and strategic investment activities at a Japanese education and senior care company as a General Manager.

In recent years at GLOBIS, after launching the online English MBA program and leading the global corporate training businesses, he now serves as a leader of the Finance and Accounting faculty group.
