Kelvin currently manages the development of Technovate English MBA courses at GLOBIS. He collaborates with top industry experts to bring the latest knowledge in digital technology and management to the MBA curriculum. He is also the program manager of international exchange programs and he sits in the project management office for the university's IT system. Prior to his current roles, he helped GLOBIS launch the Online MBA program.
Kelvin joined GLOBIS after spending more than 8 years in Japanese conglomerate, Toshiba Corporation. Originally from Singapore, he started his career as a software engineer for Toshiba PC Company. He was the lead engineer for Toshiba PC's flagship image-enhancement technology, Resolution+, and he was one of the core members in the research and engineering of 3D multimedia solutions, including the world's first glassless 3D laptop, Qosmio F750. After completing his part-time MBA at IE Business School, he moved to product planning and marketing, as a product manager for Toshiba Canvio brand of storage products.
He holds a first-class honors Bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and an MBA (Dean's List) from IE Business School. He has also attended programs in Soochow University, Fudan University and University of New South Wales. He is fluent in 3 languages: English, Chinese Mandarin and Japanese.
