GLOBIS Annual CMP Conference

This November 26th we held our annual Corporate Membership Program (CMP) conference at our Tokyo campus.

Every year, a variety of our corporate partners who work with GLOBIS University to provide career opportunities for our Full-time MBA students, join us. Furthermore, this session was also open to both HR and global business individuals who were interested in knowing more about our collaborative projects.

Through our conference, we are able to share  our CMP activities with actual experiences with CMP partners, and further nurture the relationship among all stakeholders to move forward in supporting the shared mission of global talent hiring and development, as well as  thank our partners,

This year, along with Yoshito Hori, founder and president of GLOBIS University, we had great speakers such as:

1. Masatada Kobayashi, Chief Well-being Officer and Co-Founder at Rakuten Group, Inc.
2. Masahiro Kimura, head of Overseas Business & Direct Marketing Department at ASAHI MUTUAL LIFE INSURANCE CO.;
3. Asako Yonezawa, Leader of Marketing Team, Global Sales Unit at AMIYA Corporation;
4. Two of our very own GLOBIS alumni Patricia Konno and Paul Catungal who completed our internship programs with our CMP partners.

The topics discussed ranged from well-being in diversified organizations, the merits and business impacts for our partners of partaking in an internship program, such as our GLOBIS MBA integrated learning program.

Thank you to our corporate partners and everyone who attended. We hope to continue to have a fruitful partnership and to contribute to Japan’s globalization in the corporate world as we strive to help our students become one of tomorrow’s visionary leaders.
