GLOBIS Students in Hamamatsu!
Our GLOBIS MBA student team with the winning presentation of this year's Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP) gave presentations to the top management of SOMIC Management Holdings and SOMIC Ishikawa, the largest ball joint producer in Japan.
The students traveled to Hamamatsu headquarters to present their new business plan, proposing the transformation of agriculture into manufacturing, leveraging not only Toyota's manufacturing methodology but also data science, AI, and sensor technologies.
This presentation was followed by more than two hours of in-depth discussions on the future of the automobile industry, SOMIC's future management and human resource strategies, and other interesting topics.
Thank you to Mr. Shogo Ishikawa, who is a management member and also the President of the GLOBIS Alumni Association and the SOMIC executive management team, for providing such a wonderful opportunity.
