GLOBIS University held its annual graduation ceremony for the 2025 Full-time English MBA Program on August  24. 44 graduates from 20 countries—the largest full-time cohort so far—celebrated their milestone together with friends and family at GLOBIS Hall.

The diverse group of graduates hails from 20 countries: Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Kuwait, Mongolia, Nigeria, Philippines, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.

GLOBIS University President and Founder Yoshito Hori addressed the new graduates with the following words:

We want you to be adventurous and visionary. If you take risks, you will surely face adversity.
Adversity is a great opportunity to improve yourself. If you are in your comfort zone, you are not learning or improving yourself.

We want you to be courageous to enjoy adversity.
Taking risks, facing adversity, improving yourself. If you keep on repeating this cycle, you will become the role models of those who will follow you.

Additionally, the coming “Technovate” era will be important, so deepen your understanding of technology and use your management capabilities to believe in possibilities.

Andy Meade from the United Kingdom, a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, shared his learnings and how his experience at GLOBIS shaped his understanding of being a leader:

You don’t need a badge or a fancy title to be a leader. We can display the courage and determination to be the key player, to take action at the right time, regardless of our role. Only time will tell if that action is right or wrong. But failure is never final. Let’s do the hard yards, make the decision, take the risk, and live well with our choices. Let’s stay curious, have confidence in our taste, demonstrate the ability to express how we feel, and to listen, really listen, to others. You don’t have to be the smartest in the room, the richest, the best; sometimes you just have to stay the course. And let’s not forget to have some laughs and find love along the way.

Renee Lyn Reyes from the Philippines and Student Representative Speaker, reflected on her journey with GLOBIS by summarizing her experience in her personal 3C framework:

For me, It’s Community, Change and Challenge. The 3Cs that came out from this GLOBIS journey.

To my fellow graduates, I encourage you to think about your “So What?” And remind yourself that the person who stood here a year ago for the welcoming ceremony has grown so much and is ready to take on the challenges of the real world.

We wish all graduates a successful start into their future!
