GLOBIS University Holds Annual Conference to Connect Future Talents and Corporations

On November 26, GLOBIS University held the 11th Annual Conference of the Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP).
The program fosters the development of global talent in collaboration with our corporate partners.

Highlights of this year’s event included a keynote speech by Ms. Makiko Hamase, CHRO of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, and a panel discussion featuring representatives from corporate partners Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Mr. Shinya Kimura and Mr. Kotaro Ogura) and Sato Holdings Corporation (Mr. Kevin Allart). Additionally, recent graduates of GLOBIS’s Full-time MBA program shared testimonials about securing positions at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and Sato Holdings Corporation after completing the CMP Special Course and Internship Program.

The conference concluded with a networking reception, where current students and representatives from corporate partners—both existing and prospective—had the opportunity to connect and prepare for next summer’s internships.

GLOBIS lecturers, students, and staff for attending the conference and making it such a meaningful event.

About the Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP)

GLOBIS builds and maintains partnerships with a growing network of organizations in Japan and overseas, counting over a hundred collaborators. Through the Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP), GLOBIS aims to accelerate globalization and innovation by connecting its international MBA talent to corporate partners.

The CMP offers two action-learning courses: 1) the Integrated Learning Program (ILP), a two-month internship where students apply their MBA knowledge in real-world business environments, and 2) the CMP Special Course, where students act as business consultants to develop solutions for managerial challenges faced by partner organizations. These highly practical courses encourage students to integrate and apply what they have learned throughout their MBA journey.
