GLOBIS Students visit CEIBS in Shanghai, for the first time since 2019

Our students seized the opportunity to learn about China and their growing business landscape during the CEIBS Visit program, for the first time after the pandemic.

The program stretched from April 29th to May 1st, plus a pre-dinner on April 28th for students and MBA alumni residing in Shanghai. 29 participants, including four MBA alumni, used the chance for a reunion before starting into the knowledge-packed program.

30 students from both our English and Japanese MBA program joined the visit, gathering new insights and perspectives from our partner CEIBS and their focus on entrepreneurship in China.

Highlights of the Program

Special focus of this year’s CEIBS Visit Program was entrepreneurship in China, also discussing China’s unique business culture. Our students were able to participate in not only classroom sessions, but visit to the companies discussed, providing first-hand impressions.

In addition, optional activities like the pre-dinner and a post tour at Shanghai tower were held for both current students and alumni, fostering relationships for the future.
