GLOBIS University held the 2025 entrance ceremony for the 2025 Japanese MBA programs at its Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka campuses, as well as online.

A total of 943 students have enrolled nationwide in the newly launched Technovate MBA (TMBA)* and Executive MBA (EMBA) programs.

*“Technovate” is a coined term combining “technology” and “innovation.”

President Yoshito Hori welcomed the new students with a special address;
In 2006, we had only 78 incoming students. Today, our Japanese and English programs combined welcome over 1,000 students annually, and we have sent more than 9,800 graduates—true ‘leaders of creation and transformation’—into society. GLOBIS has become Japan’s No.1 business school, both in scale and reputation. I firmly believe that by setting a strong aspiration to ‘believe in your potential,’ honing your abilities, and leveraging your professional network, you can achieve great things.

Since its founding in 2006, GLOBIS University has grown into Japan’s largest business school*², with over 10,000 current students and graduates. Both the Japanese and English cohorts have become increasingly diverse—not only in nationality but also in professional backgrounds, including doctors, lawyers, engineers, designers, and nonprofit professionals from NGOs and public foundations.

Welcome to all our new students! We look forward to seeing your journey unfold in the years ahead.
