Why did you decide to do an MBA at GLOBIS?
GLOBIS attracted me for three reasons. First, because it is located in Tokyo, Second, I was inspired by the entrepreneurial success and values of the founder Mr. Yoshito Hori, and the third reason is the possibility to develop my personal mission statement ("Kokorozashi").
How is your typical day at GLOBIS?
Given the busy schedule I mainly spend my time in the classes, group discussions with classmates, or at the library. The most interesting part are the classes because of the multicultural atmosphere (students from seventeen countries around the world) led by faculty who have practical experience.
How has GLOBIS changed the way you think?
At GLOBIS, I learned how to use critical thinking in the evaluation of business opportunities and in the problem-solving process. I also learn a lot about Japan's way of doing business. The most value I got from different courses is that I became aware of the value of diversity in addressing problems. That is the key to becoming a better leader, to look at a problem from different angles.

What I like most about Japan are the people -- their kindness and good manners. With an interesting history, healthy food and orientation towards the future and innovation, Japan is the ideal environment for the people who want to develop their potential.
