What is your professional background?

I joined my current company, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, in 2005. I have experienced international production planning (6 years); product planning for overseas markets (3 years);  China project (2 years); Assistant to the Chairman (1.5 years); and now head of HR Marketing & Recruiting.

What do you like best about studying at GLOBIS?

There are two things I like best: The practical content, which I can really apply to improve myself. The second is the  lectures that are always very interactive and allow active discussions to deepen the learning. They also inspire very enthusiastic communication among classmates outside of the class.

What is it like studying online?

I chose on-line because I need to take care of my baby. At the beginning, I was quite nervous about interacting with the lecturer and classmates smoothly via video. . But soon I got used to it and found it so amazing. I thought on-line would limit communications but, in fact, it makes our communications more complex, transparent, and fun!

Since starting your MBA program, have you had an opportunity to apply what you learned at work?

I am taking child care leave, so I haven’t had the chance. But what I learn always allows me to simulate my job and makes me have a clearer image of what I would/should do when I go back to “my battlefield.”

Have you experienced any difficulties during the MBA program and how have you overcome them?

To be honest, preparation for the assignments is quite tough sometimes because you can only rely on limited information before the class. However, it really deepens the learning with such hardship. I do the review every time and see how my classmates review through the discussion board, which makes my preparation easier, and my life easier, because you find you are not alone. 😊

What advice would you give to potential prospects who are interested in taking the GLOBIS MBA?

In the real business world, you can learn a lot from success and failure. But usually it is risk and responsibility, or even complicated personal or hierarchical relationships, that prevent you from taking new challenges or learning further. Through the GLOBIS MBA, there are a lot of cases  that are very “real” and allow you to “purely” learn from very different perspectives. It is not possible to learn the same way from the busy daily life.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be: there is no right time to learn, so just act before you think! I believe it will be one of the best choices of your life.
