What made you choose the GLOBIS MBA?

“I started my career in sales and shifted to marketing in my mid-twenties. To improve my marketing career, I needed to learn more about business. I knew an MBA could help me, and as soon as I started to dig deeper, I came across GLOBIS.

GLOBIS attracted my attention because it focuses on practical business skills and provides courses taught in English with international cases. At that time, I was working at an international company and wanted to apply what I learned to my job, so GLOBIS was the best choice for me. “

What’s the hybrid style of learning like?

“I enjoyed face-to-face classes for the casual communication with classmates and lecturers between classes. That gave me a lot of inspiration and encouragement.

But online classes gave me flexibility, so the hybrid style allowed me to enjoy the classes to the fullest and optimize my learning experience.”

How did GLOBIS help you achieve personal and professional changes?

“I changed my job three months before graduation and shifted my career to marketing consulting. That field requires a wide range of marketing knowledge and problem-solving skills.

During my time at GLOBIS, I mastered problem-solving. MBA courses at GLOBIS such as Strategy, Marketing, Accounting, and Finance, helped me build the skills and mindset required for success as a consultant.

Understanding fundamental business skills, especially strategic thinking, is helpful for any career. I learned those skills not only from lectures, but through discussions with classmates, as well. My new career as a consultant got off to a good start thanks to GLOBIS.”

How did you balance your studies with other responsibilities?

It’s always hard to balance work, family, and studies. I had to prioritize my tasks and move through them efficiently. That meant clarifying what I needed to do by when and focusing. Sometimes you may have to give up something, which takes courage, but it’s needed for balance.
