Admission Policy

Our mission is to develop visionary leaders who create and innovate societies in Japan and around the world. To achieve this mission, we admit students with unique potential and the passion to drive meaningful change in a wide range of roles.

Here at GLOBIS, every member of our diverse student body is tasked with creating a healthy, stimulating learning environment for their peers, faculty, and staff.

As our students work to realize their own aspirations, they also enhance each other’s critical and logical thinking, communication skills, and ability to get things done. In addition, they possess a kokorozashi and the creativity to bring about positive change in society.

Curriculum Policy

Our mission is to develop visionary leaders who create and innovate societies in Japan and all over the world. To this end, our curriculum is designed to establish leaders with problem-solving skills for a rapidly evolving business environment.

Structure Method
Each course falls into one of three categories: Fundamental, Applied, and Specialized. After acquiring basic knowledge with Fundamental courses and honing their skills with Applied courses, students can use their newfound skills to tackle contemporary issues and problems in Specialized courses.

Fundamental and Applied courses are split into six disciplines. Three of these are common to any MBA program: Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management, Marketing & Strategy, and Accounting & Finance. With these, students systematically acquire the skills to manage people, capital, and knowledge. In addition, GLOBIS focuses on three unique disciplines: Critical & Analytical Skills, Management Philosophy, and Technovate. Leaders must rely on their values and beliefs for guidance during tough times. And in today’s rapidly changing environment, they also need a deep understanding of technology to thrive.

Our Specialized courses are divided into three areas: Creation, which focuses on bringing new ideas to life; Innovation, which emphasizes the iteration and growth of existing value; and Japan/Asia/Global, which highlights the development of global leaders who play active roles in Asia and the global economy.
Classes at GLOBIS are discussion based to help students put their acquired knowledge into practice and produce tangible results. To frame these discussions, we utilize the case method. This approach trains students to think deeply not only on their own, but through lively group discussions.

We are well aware that working business professionals have varying schedules and commitments. This is why we offer a Full-time MBA (which can be completed in just one year), as well as a Part-time & Online MBA for a more self-paced option.
