Angus Tin has enjoyed a diverse career, including stints in IT and investment, before finding his true passion in branding. Since his debut as a marketer at P&G, he has taken on various senior management assignments with Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, and Pola Orbis.
In 2016, Angus founded a company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of beauty and health appliances. He attributes his success to his considerable marketing experience and commitment to pragmatic and agile strategy.
Born in China and educated in the US, Angus first came to Japan in 1996 and is fluent in Japanese. He travels extensively throughout Japan, appreciates the beauty of Japanese products and craftsmanship, and sincerely believes that branding can help Japan achieve success globally.
Having roughly divided a third of his life among China, Japan, and the US, Angus is well-versed in navigating cultural differences, which helps him gain in-depth insights into consumer behavior around the world. He enjoys sharing these insights with his students at GLOBIS University.
