Biography:

Dr. David Williams is the founder and lead digital strategist of Global Digital Mojo and Adjunct Professor at the School of Design of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and has over 20 years of experience in commercial digital experience innovation.

Following senior UX positions with Motorola, Nuance, and Razorfish, he went to Shanghai to co-found Asentio Design in 2006. Asentio was China's first research-to-design digital product and service design studio. Following 4 years of rapid growth, Asentio was acquired in 2009.

Sensing an opportunity in the digital marketing space, Dr. Williams founded AsiaDigitalMojo. This agency defines communication strategies and applies interactive experiences to digital marketing, branding, and experiential retail.

Driven by incessant curiosity and a multidisciplinary vision, Dr. Williams speaks 5 languages and has lived or worked in over 20 countries. He also has teaching and commercial relationships with 10 universities around Asia and Europe. He sees the collaboration of voices from the arts, science, engineering, and business along with the melding Eastern and Western traditions as the DNA of future successful businesses.

Dr. Williams also works with education-related NGOs and social businesses to deliver social change through creativity.

He lives between sea, mountain, and airport on Hong Kong's Lantao Island.
