Why did you choose to study in Japan?

“I chose to study in Japan because it is the third-largest economy in the world and has a long-standing history in various industries. Coming from a family that has conducted business with Japanese companies for over 30 years, I have a deep-rooted interest in Japanese culture and business practices. By studying in Japan, I aim to gain in-depth knowledge of the latest Japanese management methods. This knowledge will not only enhance my personal development but also contribute significantly to the expansion of our family business in the future.”

What do you like the most about studying at GLOBIS?

“GLOBIS has a practical approach that stands out against the more academic focus of typical universities. The curriculum at GLOBIS involves learning through real case studies, which are tangible and directly applicable to your career. This hands-on approach helps us learn theoretical concepts and apply our own perspectives to each case. Delving deeper into the subject matter helps us understand how our approaches will impact the outcome.

Additionally, the program is highly customizable, aligning well with my personal preferences. This flexibility ensures that while I’m building knowledge, I’m also developing invaluable skills to apply in my future career.”

Since starting your MBA program, have you seen any changes in how you think and act?
“Before enrolling in the Full-time MBA program at GLOBIS, my three years of experience in the mining industry contributed to my understanding of many aspects of business. However, my mindset has evolved significantly since then. Now, I have a broader perspective on both qualitative and quantitative factors in business. This new, comprehensive perspective has allowed me to make more efficient decisions in my business endeavors. Studying at GLOBIS opened my eyes to a wider array of real business aspects and encouraged me to consider all sorts of possibilities in my career and my personal life, too.”
