GLOBIS is pleased to announce that a redesigned GLOBIS logo will be adopted from April 2024 onwards. For the past year GLOBIS has worked with design innovation firm Takram Japan K.K. on a new brand project. The new logo design is a culmination of the team’s hard work during a one-year internal brand review. GLOBIS surveyed students, alumni, faculty, business partners, employees, and other stakeholders about their thoughts on changing the current logo. Multiple rounds of community voting informed the final logo decision.
The new logo design is based on the concept of the ‘GLOBIS Blue Flame.’ The imagery symbolizes the strong will, intelligence, and passion that resides in the hearts of people who come to GLOBIS.
The newly selected color is ‘GLOBIS Blue,’ a nod to the blue flame concept that represents the burning ambition of GLOBIS’s stakeholders. And a unique universal font was developed in order to ensure synergy between the development of various GLOBIS businesses activities in Japan and overseas.
To continue the legacy of the original design, the distinctive G square mark of the original logo has been carried over to the new design. The diagonal upward line of the G in the new logo expresses speed and strength of will.

“We’ve used that same logo for 31 years. But around the time of the company’s 30th anniversary, our in-house designers expressed strong opinions about changing it, so we initiated a new project. I asked that our stakeholders participate in the vote so that we could hear as many opinions as possible.
