Asuka Takaoka has a wealth of consulting experience spanning the globe. For the past 13 years, she has worked at the Frankfurt and Tokyo offices of McKinsey & Company where she has done broader management consulting, followed by human resources consulting in London and Tokyo. Most recently, she has taken the regional role in Asia for the assessment practice at Willis Towers Watson, a leading human resources consulting firm. With an expertise in CEO succession planning, executive assessment and development, and board effectiveness, she holds qualifications for the British Psychological Society, Hogan Assessment, OPQ assessment, and Saville Assessment.
While teaching at the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University, she continues to do research on corporate governance as a visiting scholar at George Washington University in the United States. She is also the founder and CEO of Bancho Board Advisory Co., Ltd.
